There are many acronyms and terminologies used in the petroleum oil products
transport, supply, business, trading and international shipping and transportation of
petroleum commodities. These acronyms are also used in such as diesel supply chain, jet
A1 aviation fuel, EN590 – 10PPM, etc. The terminologies are used in oil and gas trading
business between buyer and seller’s companies. Sometimes, the Tank Farm, storage
and logistic companies use these terminologies to make a successful business between
parties such as refinery, end buyers, seller-side and buyer-side agents.

Terminologies

ASWP :  Any Safe World Port
 
ATPCC : Allocation Transaction Passport Code Certificate
 
ATS : Authorization to Sell or Authorization to Verify the Product in Seller’s Tank
 
ATI : Authorization to Inject
 
ATSC : Authority to Sell & Collect

ATV : Authorization to Verify Barrel It is a unit of volume measurement used for petroleum and its products. One barrel is equal to 42 U.S. gallons or 35 British gallons. Its abbreviation is BBL or Bbl or bbl.
